What is AZHDAYA (and how do I pronounce it) ?

AZHDAYA is the best platform for running, managing and experimenting with Playwright testsuites.

The word “azhdaya” (pronounced roughly ‘ah-sh-duh-ya’ ) denotes a three-headed dragon from Slavic mythology.

AZHDAYA the platform is inspired by its mythological namesake’s power, speed and wits - as well by our experience from numerous real-life customer projects.

Our Free package is almost completely matching the feature set of the paid packages and is designed to help you get yor projects get off the ground:

  • Go to https://www.azhdaya.io, click on signup button and fill out your details.
  • Note: even if you don’t have a company, we need an organisation name in order to group your projects.
  • Fill out the details - the company details are optional for Free package (as we won’t be billing you). Should you decide you need more capacity, you can always upgrade to one of our paid packages.

Who are you guys and does this even matter in the age of AI ?

AZHDAYA is built and operated by Taldea GmbH, a German company based in Munich. We operate under the German and EU legal framework. With several decades of experience in software development, DevOps and system administration we care deeply about software quality and usability.

Our strong belief is that especially in the age of AI-assisted coding, the quick and reliable quality feedback is even more important than ever. In simple terms, nobody likes shoddy software.

Regardless if you write 100% of code yourself, use AI merely as an extended search engine or go fully 100% AI in your development process - your product still needs to remain reliable. This is what AZHDAYA is built for.

What about the legal terms, EU GDPR, user tracking etc.

Legal TL;DR - still just for overview purposes:)

  • We don’t engage in user tracking, which is why you don’t see any annoying cookie banners on our site.
  • We aim for a certain level of availability, barring events out of our control.
  • You grant us the right to process your personal and repository data in order to be able to provide you the service.
  • If you knowingly and purposefully abuse our service and our platform, we will terminate your account(s) and hold you legally liable for any damages incurred!

Well the sources are scarce and sometimes contradictory, but we found a fairly good overview at this link: Azhdaya.

There is apparently also a version of it in the Persian mythology: Azhdaha
